Jaume Plensa is a Spanish artist and this body of work reminded me of what it was I wanted to share with you in this blog. This work was created with the intention of giving physical form to the intangible, using the body as a way of what it means to be human. It engages with the universal themes of love, memory, language and despair.
Our physical bodies are a physical form of our intangible, a temporary home for our spiritual development. We came into the physical with intention.
It is our intention that is the most important part of our actions, intention holds the energy, it is the messenger / transmitter if you like. What I mean by this is that it is not what you do or say that is of the most importance, but the intention, the reason behind it. It is the intention, the reason that links you and holds you to your spiritual path. Believe in yourself, be kind and be loving.
Ralph Waldo Emerson was quoted to have said:
"To believe your own thoughts, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men - that is genius"
Align yourself to your intention to feel the power that truly lies within you. Your intention is the direct line to your Source. You can do this, it is a step by step process where every step counts, no matter how small it may seem to you.....every step counts. I have always believed what Lau Tzu was credited with saying:
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"
- Reverance for all life - this manifests as unconditional love, respecting yourself and all other living beings.
- Natural sincerity - this manisfest as honesty, simplicity and faithfulness.
- Gentleness - this manifests as kindness, consideration for others and having sensitivity for spiritual truth.
- Supportiveness - this manifests as service to others without expectation of gain or reward.
